Detailed schedule

Saturday 11th | KABARET OPENING
– The first “rendez-vous” is the most important!

11am | Meeting with the directors
– Presentation of the team and support groups + information regarding the Kabaret’s organisation. Signature of the agreement between KinoGeneva and the directors.

From 2pm | Payment of the registration fees and badge withdrawal

From 5pm | Opening night
– Presentation of the Geneva Kino Kabaret and the schedule.
– Presentation of the technicians and screening of actor reels.
– Informal meeting with drinks and food, with team formation and listing of the equipment.

 

FIRST ROUND from January 12th through the 16th 2020

Sunday 12th at 12noon | Production meeting – 1st round
– Director pitches, requirements & needs regarding team, cast, locations, accessories, etc. Equipment allocation according to requests.

Monday 13th | Day 1 – 1st round : prep/shoot
– Equipment pick-up and shooting begins (schedule to be arranged with equipment team).

Tuesday 14th | Day 2 – 1st round : shoot/postproduction
– End of filming and equipment return by 6pm.

Wednesday 15th | Day 3 – 1st round : postproduction

Thursday 16th | Day 4 – 1st round : postproduction & film delivery
18h | Film delivery and screening for the musicians, one on one with directors.

Friday 17th | Screening – 1st round
8:30 pm | Jam-session – at the Alhambra (10 rue de la Rôtisserie)

 

SECOND ROUND from January 16th through the 20th 2020

Thursday 16th at 12 noon | Production meeting – 2nd round
– Director pitches, requirements & needs regarding team, cast, locations, accessories, etc. Equipment allocation according to requests.

Friday 17th | Day 1 : prep/shoot
– Equipment pick-up and shooting begins (schedule to be arranged with equipment team).
8:30 pm | Jam session  – at the Alhambra (10 rue de la Rôtisserie)

Saturday 18th | Day 2 : shoot/postproduction | 1st round screening
– End of filming and equipment return until 6pm.

Sunday 19th | Day 3: postproduction

Monday 20th | Day 4 : postproduction & film screening
12 noon | Production meeting – Director pitches, requirements & needs regarding team, cast, locations, accessories, etc. Equipment allocation according to requests.
6 pm | Film delivery
9 pm | 2nd round screening – location: Salle Centrale de la Madeleine

 

THIRD ROUND from January 20th through the 24th 2020

Monday 20th | Production meeting – 3rd round
6 pm | Director pitches, requirements & needs regarding team, cast, locations, accessories, etc. Equipment allocation according to requests.
9 pm | 2nd round screening – location: Salle Centrale de la Madeleine

Tuesday 21st | Day 1 – 3rd round : prep/shoot | 2nd round screening
– Equipment pick-up and shooting begins (schedule to be arranged with equipment team).

Wednesday 22nd | Day 2 – 2nd round : shoot/postproduction
– End of filming and equipment return until 6pm.

Thursday 23th |  Day 3 – 3rd round : postproduction

Friday 24th | Day 4 – 3rd round : postproduction & film delivery

6 pm | Film delivery
9 pm | 3rd round screening – location: Salle Centrale de la Madeleine
from midnight : for a happy joyous closure, at the KinoLab
END OF KABARET PARTY with MUSIC (DJs) UNTIL… SUNRISE!

Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th & Monday 27th : KinoLab dismantling. Please come and help!

Registration fees

They help cover all the organisational costs (KinoLab rental, insurances, web platform, etc.)
– CHF 25.- for actors and technicians / craftsmen & women
– CHF 150.- for directors (director spots are limited to 12 per round)
Screenings : your badge gives you access to the screenings (make sur to arrive sufficiently early).
For the public, tickets for the Jam-session are CHF 25.-/15.- frs (pre-sales 20.- frs) and for the 2nd and 3rd screenings CHF 10.-

Catering

Meals prepared with love and healthy local produce by our very own chef will be available with different payment options: pay as you go, 10 meal card or entire Kabaret.
